The London Irish Rifle Volunteers (28th/16th Middlesex Rifle Volunteers) Officer’s Helmet Plate c. 1878-1901, a scarce example in die stamped blackened metal with burnished highlights, crowned Bath style cross pattern, in the voided centre St. Edward’s crown over the Harp, on the circle ‘London Irish Rifle Vols’, complete with three loop fasteners, very good condition £160-220
