The Khedive’s Sudan 1896-1908 Medal to Private F. Bullock, 21st Lancers, who rode with ‘C’ Squadron in the famous charge at Omdurman, 2 September 1898

F. Bullock served in Captain W. M. Doyne’s ‘C’ Squadron, 21st Lancers, as part of the charge at Omdurman. He died of enteric fever at Abbassiyeh, 25 October 1898, and his effects were sent to his father ‘Mr. Wm, Bullock at 7 Station Rd. Sudbury, Suffolk.’

The recipient’s Queen’s Sudan 1896-98 Medal was sold at Spink in November 2007.
