William Weevill served with No. 25 Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps during the Great War on the Western Front from 5 November 1914. He was discharged on 25 October 1915.

It is possible that Corporal W. Weevill, and the civilian ‘W. Wevill’ who served with the Royal Navy, are one and the same man.
