Charles I (1625-1649), Sixty Shillings, Briot’s Issue, mm. b above thistle, 29.95g/6h (B 5; SCBI 35, 1424-6, same dies; S 5552). Old scratches in obverse field behind horseman, almost extremely fine, even attractive tone (£1,200-1,500)
