Royal Wantage Volunteers Medal 1810, a circular struck and engraved medal, 50mm, silver (no hallmarks), the obverse featuring a struck bust of George III facing right by Halliday, ‘God Save the King’ around, the reverse featuring the Royal Arms engraved, legend ‘Royal Wantage Volunteers’ above, below the arms ‘Prize Medal 1810 For Skill at Arms’ with ‘G’ and ‘R’ to left and right, silver medallion set within gilt frame with gilt ring suspension, very fine £200-240
