Princess Charlotte’s Regiment of Volunteers Medal 1814, a circular engraved medal with wide ‘snakeskin’ border, 57mm, silver (hallmarks for London 1813), the obverse featuring the Prince of Wales’s feathers and motto, legend above ‘Princess Charlotte’s’ and below ‘Regiment of Volunteers’, the reverse inscribed ‘The Gift of Captain P. D. Hunt to Mr. Wm. Houlder Best Shot of the Regiment May 1814’, pierced, with later small ring suspension, very fine £180-220
