45 Star, nearly extremely fine, with 2 named identity tags, R.A.F. Service and Release Book, R.A.F cap badge, belt buckle, and ribands for the Air Crew Europe Star and the War Medal 1939-45

Mary Joan Todd was born in Holborn, London, in 1923. She served during the Second War as a Cook with the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force from September 1942. She died in St. Albans in 1965.

William Dowell Todd was a native of Sunderland, and the Managing Director of Todd Street Printing Works. He was a Spiritualist, and was a member of the Council of Spiritualist’s National Union. He was also the Area Representative of the Northern Counties on the latter body, as well as the President of the Derwent Street Church, Sunderland. Todd was also one time Secretary of the Sunderland Association Football Club.
