William Warner was born in Hinckley, Leicestershire, and attested there for the Leicestershire Regiment. He transferred to the Lincolnshire Regiment, and served during the Great War with the 1st Battalion. He was killed in action on the Western Front on 28 May 1918; he has no known grave and is commemorated on the Soissons Memorial, France.

Arthur Bayes was born in Scarborough, Yorkshire, and attested there for the Northamptonshire Regiment. He served during the Great War with the 1st Battalion, and was killed in action on the Western Front on 10 November 1917. He has no known grave, and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.
