Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane Society, Marine Medal, 3rd type, bronze (Andrew Jones for Gallant Service 7-6-69) with integral top riband bar, in case of issue, of poor quality manufacture, but extremely fine as issued £70-90

Andrew Jones was awarded his Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane Society Medal in bronze, together with a Certificate of Thanks and a gratuity of £5, ‘for having, with assistance from others, rescued a man from drowning in Canada Branch Dock No 2, Liverpool, on the 7th June, 1969.’ (Royal Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane Society Annual Report 1970 refers).
