British South Africa Company Medal 1890-97, reverse Rhodesia 1896, no clasp (Troop Sergt. Major C. W. C. Dillon. C. W. C. Dillon (sometimes listed as C. W. Cronley-Dillon) served with the Pioneer Column, British South Africa Police in Mashonaland 1890 (entitled to medal, but unclaimed). He subsequently served as a Troop Sergeant Major in the Umtali Volunteer Corps during the campaign of 1896, and is supposed to have been wounded. His younger brother Denis, was killed on the Shangani Patrol. In later years C.W.C. Dillon emigrated to Australia, and resided in Perth.
