Crimea 1854-56, 3 clasps, Alma, Inkermann, Sebastopol (A. Ison. 47th Regt.) officially impressed naming, very fine £340-380

Alfred Ison enlisted for the 47th Foot at Cambridge, in June 1848. He served as servant to Captain Henry Meade Hamilton, 47th Foot, during the Crimean War. The latter was a Deputy Assistant Quarter Master General. Ison was sent Sick to Scutari, 22 December 1854. He died at Scutari, 2 February 1855.
