Thomas Ernest Eccleshall was born in Birmingham on 31 March 1888, and enlisted there into the Worcestershire Regiment on 18 July 1905. He served in the 2nd Battalion in India before the war and went to France with his battalion on 27 August 1914. He was wounded on 17 August 1917 by a gunshot wound to the left forearm and hand, being discharged as a result on 24 February 1919. Sold with detailed research.
