Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 4 clasps, Tugela Heights, Orange Free State, Relief of Ladysmith, Transvaal (83211 A. Bomb: W. Ockley, 73rd. Bty: R.F.A.) officially re-impressed naming; King’s South Africa 1901-02, 2 clasps (83211 Bomb: W. Ockley. R.F.A.); 1914 Star, with clasp (9614 Gnr: M.H. [sic] Ockley. R.F.A.); British War and Victory Medals (9614 Gnr. W. H. Ockley. R.A.) the Boer War awards mounted from a double silver riband bar, these good very fine, the Great War awards extremely fine (5) £200-240

William Henry Ockley was born in 1872 and served with the Royal Field Artillery during both the Boer War and Great War. He was discharged on 7 March 1919.

Sold together with a Diamond Jubilee 1897 commemorative medallion, in Spink, London, box of issue; three other Jubilee or Coronation white metal medals; three photographs; and the recipient’s Great War Discharge Certificate.
