James VI (1567-1625), Thirty Shillings, 1582, mark of value in one line, 22.86g/5h (B 1, fig. 932; SCBI 35, 1237, same obv. die; S 5488). Cut in front of face and some minor hairlines both sides, almost very fine and a nice example of this rare variety (£1,200-1,500)
