James II (1437-1460), Demy, type IVb, mm. crown on obv., cross pattée on rev., quatrefoils with large central pellets, double saltire stops, 2.94g/2h (B 7; SCBI 35, 635-6, same obv. die; S 5219). A little clipped, otherwise very fine (£500-600)
