41st (Welch) Regiment Officer’s Battalion Companies Shako Plate 1844 - 1855, an extremely fine example in gilt featuring crowned eight pointed star, battle honours on the major star points, in the centre within sprays of laurel and palm an oval strap ‘Gwell Angau Neu Chwilydd’, in the centre the Prince of Wales’s crest and motto in silver gilt, below the laurel and palm sprays in gilt ‘XLI’, complete with two loop fasteners and two of the wire crown fasteners, very fine condition £700-900
