Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Shilling, Gp E, mm. tun (over crown over bell on obv.), bust 2, rev. plume over shield, pellet stops both sides, 5.95g/4h (Sharp E2/3; cf. SCBI Brooker 508; N 2226; S 2793). Bust weak, otherwise good fine, reverse better, a rare mint-mark for the type £100-150
