Edward Kenelm Digby, 11th Baron Digby, KG, DSO, MC (1894-1964), served in the Coldstream Guards in World War I. He succeeded to the baronetcy in 1920 and was chairman of the Dorset County Council from 1955 to 1964 and Lord Lieutenant of Dorset between 1952 and 1964. His eldest daughter was the socialite and diplomat Pamela Harriman
