British, Whitnash Industrial Exhibition, 1865, a white metal medal by J. Moore, side elevation of a church amid trees, rev. legend, named (J.G.B. Bingham), 39mm (BHM 2849); Royal Horticultural Society, Banksian Medal, in bronze, after W. Wyon, named (Awarded by Ballymena Hort. Society to Maude, Lady Clanmorris, 1938), 38mm; together with other miscellaneous medals, in silver (2), base metal (5) [9]. Generally about very fine, first pierced but rare (£50-60)

The church on the first medal is St Margaret’s, Whitnash, near Leamington Spa.

Matilda (née Ward, †1941), widow of John George Barry Bingham, 5th Baron Clanmorris (1852-1916), to whom she was married in 1878
