William Henry Greenslade was born in Brixham, Devon on 17 June 1859. He joined the Metropolitan Police on 22 January 1883. His warrant number was 67412 and he was posted to ‘T’ Division. He retired on 26 January 1908 and was granted a pension. At the time of his retirement his divisional number was ‘P.C. 31TR’ He was one of a number of ex-police officers who rejoined the Metropolitan Police for 21 days at the time of the Coronation of 1911; they were designated ‘Z’ Division. All were attached to other divisions and Greenslade at this time was again attached to ‘T’ Division. He died on 13 November 1927. With copied research.
