Stephen Dynon was born in Bolton, Lancashire. He enlisted into the 16th Lancers on 13 June 1838. Served with the regiment in India, 1838-46, thereafter serving in England. Promoted to Corporal in February 1842 and to Sergeant in April 1844. He died in Manchester on 4 September 1851. Sold with copied roll extracts and a summary of his service.
