Naval General Service 1915-62, 2 clasps, B. & M. Clearance Mediterranean, Near East (C/JX.905083 P. L. Vanderson, A.B., R.N.) good very fine and rare £800-1000

Ex. Spink 27.7.2000, lot 152.

The first clasp was sanctioned by an Admiralty Fleet Order dated 27.7.1956. It was awarded for 6 months bomb and mine clearance service in the Mediterranean, chiefly centred around Malta, especially in the Grand Harbour at Valetta. Approximately 60 medals / clasps are believed to have been awarded.
