War Medal 1939-45; General Service 1918-62, 1 clasp, Palestine 1945-48 (14446172 Fus., R. Ir. F.); Africa General Service, 1 clasp, Kenya (14446172 Cpl., R. Ir. F.); United Nations Korea, mounted as worn; together with an Order of Buffaloes badge, gilt and enamel, reverse inscribed, ‘Bro. Patrick Daly, initiated 7.10.53, Faugh-a-Ballagh Lodge’, nearly extremely fine (5) £120-140

Patrick Daly was born in 1926 and enlisted into the British Army in Belfast in 1944. Sold with two Certificate of Service booklets which show service with the General Service Corps, 24.3.1944 - 1.11.1944; Royal Irish Fusiliers, 2.11.1944 - 18.5.1948; Parachute Regiment, 19.5.1948 - 25.9.1953 and Royal Irish Fusiliers, 26.9.1953 - 23.3.1956. Sold with an Infantry Record Office letter dated 20.6.1960, two cloth and two metal badges and card boxes of issue for the G.S.M., A.G.S. and U.N. Korea.
