Thomas Sharp, the father of William Sharp (below) was born in Livingston, Midlothian and enlisted at Fauldhouse, West Lothian. Serving with the 11th battalion Royal Scots, he was killed in action, France / Flanders, 27.9.1915, aged 42 years. His name is listed on the Loos Memorial, Pas de Calais, France.

William Sharp was born in Bellshill, Lanarkshire and enlisted at Fauldhouse, West Lothian. Serving with the 6th battalion (attached 5th/6th) Royal Scots, he was killed in action, France / Flanders, 17.4.1917, aged 22 years. His name is listed on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.
