Three: Lieutenant-Colonel F. Kayser, 21st (Reserve) and 23rd London Regiment, late 1st Dragoon Guards

Lieutenant-Colonel Frank Kayser, served as a Lieutenant with the Cardigan Royal Garrison Artillery Militia before entering the the Boer War as a Lieutenant in the 1st Dragoon Guards serving with the Remounts. In 1908 he was Major with the 5th Warwickshire Howitzer Battery. At the onset of the Great War he was a Lieutenant-Colonel of the 23rd London Regiment and latterly commanded the 2/23rd battalion. In June 1916, as Lieutenant-Colonel, he commanded the 21st Reserve Battalion of the London Regiment. Sold with some copied research details, including extracts from ‘The 23rd London Regiment 1798-1919’, in which Kayser is mentioned several times.
