Sold with a copy of the medal roll confirming the North West Frontier clasp. Only 74 clasps were issued to the 61st Regiment who had taken part in the Eusufzie expedition in December 1849, the earliest expedition for which the clasp could be claimed. By the time it was authorised, many members of the expedition had died or left the army. Morrison was a pensioner by the time he claimed his medal and clasp, the roll dated Curragh Camp, 5th October 1874.
