The contemporary group of four miniature dress medals worn by Joseph Beedon, Boatswain, Royal Navy, comprising Baltic 1854-55, the ribbon fitted with clasp ‘Balaklava’; Crimea 1854-55, no clasp; Royal Humane Society, Bronze Medal (Successful) named on the rim (Joseph Beeden, A.B. 31st Jany. 1857. H.M.S. Duke of Wellington) fitted with bronze ribbon buckle; Royal Humane Society, Silver Medal (Successful) named on the rim (James Beeden, A.B. 9th July 1857. H.M.S. Cumberland) fitted with silver Second Award clasp, 1st type, the obverse of the clasp dated ‘20th March 1872’, the group mounted as worn on a quadruple silver buckle bar, the reverse fitted with steel pin, very fine and very rare (4)
