Royal Humane Society Case No. 51,388.

Francis Teush, a Royal Marine Pensioner, aged 66, and Henry Fisher, Chief Inspector of Police, aged 44, rescued Vera and Eileen Catterall, aged 8 and 13 respectively, on 2 August 1932, at Port Creek, Portsmouth. Vera, when paddling at Portsbridge, slipped into deep water and Eileen, going to help her, also slipped. 10 feet deep, 20 yards out. Teush jumped in fully clad and with difficulty held them up. Inspector Fisher then went in and rescued all three. Francis Teush awarded a Bronze Medal and Henry Fisher awarded a Testimonial on Vellum.
