France, 1883. France. Fauvette, Chienne d’Arret, a uniface bronzed lead plaque by V. Peter, bloodhound left, 133 x 74mm (BDM IV, 462; ANS Exh. Cat. 1910, p.231, no.12). Good very fine, rare (£70-90)
