France, “Alsace”, bronze patriotic plaquettes by Nocq after Hansi (2), Gaulish warrior attacking six-headed monster, reverse young girl in the national costume of Alsace, kneeling praying by grave, the crossed surmounted by a képi, 35 x 40mm, and 21 x 31mm [2]. Extremely fine (£15-20)

Hansi was a French illustrator; he specialised in Alsatian themes of a patriotic and sentimental nature.
