Miscellaneous, “The Channel Tunnel”, a silver medal struck by the Pobjoy Mint for the inaugration of the opening of the Channel Tunnel by the Her Majasty Queen Elizabeth II and President Mitterrand on the 6th May 1994, which has been set into one of the cuting teeth from a Markham Tunnel boring Machine which was used to dig the tunnel on the English side, the medal 45mm, the tooth, set on an attactive mount 380mm x 110mm. In box of issue, as made (£200-300)
