Paul Mason (b.1952), studied at Bolton College of Art and Design, and won a gold medal at the RA Schools. Inspired by drawings of Lulworth Cove, Dorset, the artist used a vantage point from the cliff which creates the feeling of “being very high up indeed, a weightlessness akin to flying, the view of a seagull…”
