Australia, Australia, George VI, Proof set, 1938, comprising silver Crown, Florin, Shilling, and Threepence, (no Sixpence) and bronze Penny and Halfpenny, contained in a long fitted wooden case, a silver plaque in the inside lid engraved “The Ministry of Finance of the Dominion of Canada from the Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Australia” [6]. Mint state or virtually so, but silver coins lacquered and showing some hairlines and patches of discolouration, the case lacking a catch and slightly warped (£800-1,200)
