The edge is unusual in that the words are from two separate series of letter punch founts – SPENCE and LONDON heavily impressed as in the case of Spence’s regular series of Middlesex tokens, DEALER IN COINS lightly impressed in the manner of those pieces in this series with the COVENTRY TOKEN edge
