Corieltauvi, Vep Corp 5-15AD, gold Stater, 5.31 gms, obverse Apollo wreath with two crosses reverse vep above horse, below, corp, behind six pointed star (VA 930 variant, British Iron Age Coins 3297). Good very fine to extremely fine, extremely rare (£700-800)

A most interesting and beautiful Stater which appears to be a link between Vep Corf’s first coinage of 5-8AD and his second coinage of 8-12 AD.
