Ex H. Y. Usher Collection 1975. Roll confirms 3101 Pte. J. W. Isherwood, 2d Bn. Lancashire Fusiliers, Army Signalling Dept., Govt. Telegraph Dept., Bombay Presidency. He gained the clasp Burma 1885-7 with the Cheshire Regiment and transferred to the Lancashire Fusiliers for his other two clasps, and also renumbered from 2483 (Cheshire number) to 3101 (Lanc. Fus. number). This medal is believed to be unique to the regiment.
