William Dadswell spent the greater part of his service career aboard Royal Yachts, this service being recognised on the 13 June 1946 when King George VI awarded him the silver Royal Victorian Medal. At the time of the award he was serving as a Chief Petty Officer aboard the Royal Yacht VICTORIA & ALBERT. Sold with original certificates for the Royal Victorian Medal, Jubilee and Coronation medals.
