1914 Star (9053 Nk., R.A.); British War and Victory Medals (9053 Havr., R.F.A.); Viceroy’s Presentation Medal, silver, 50 mm, Presented by His Excellency Rear Admiral The Earl Mountbatten of Burma, Governor General of India to (Chobdar Dehra Singh); President of India’s Medal, silver, 50 mm, named (Dehra Singh Chobdar Novr. 1953) the trio heavily knocked and worn through polishing, therefore poor, the last two very fine and very rare (5)

Earl Mountbatten was Viceroy of India from March to August 1947 in the run up to Independence and his Viceroy medals are consequently rare. After Independence the President of India continued to present medals of a similar nature.
