(Civil) 1st type neck badge and breast star, enamel damaged to one arm of neck badge, otherwise good very fine, in its Garrard & Co. case of issue; together with bestowal document for K.B.E. (Mayson Moss Beeton); and related Victory Medal (M. M. Beeton, V.A.D.); miniature C.B.E. and several newspaper cuttings, extremely fine (3)

Sir Mayson Moss Beeton, son of Isabella Mary Beeton- the “Mrs Beeton” who compiled the “Book of Household Management”; she died at his birth 1865. During the Great War he worked in the finace department of the Ministry of Muntions and oranized and administered the Newfoundland Forestry Corps.
