R.M.L.I.) engraved naming; Royal Marine Meritorious Service Medal, G.V.R., Field Marshal’s uniform (William Weston, Col. Sergt. 46th Coy. R.M.L.I.) impressed naming, the first two with contact marks, nearly very fine, the last good very fine and rare (3)

Enlisted as a drummer on 22 February 1854 in the Portsmouth Division, aged 13 years and 9 months. Born Portsea, Portsmouth. Served in the Baltic as a Drummer aboard H.M.S. GEYSER. Promoted to Private 20 March 1859. Annuity commenced 3 December 1918.
