Military Medal, G.V.R. (1262 Cpl., 2/M.T. Coy. Can. A.S.C.); 1914-15 Star (1262 Pte., Can. A.S.C.); British War and Victory Medals (1262 Cpl., C.A.S.C.) together with Souris & Glenwood, Manitoba, Great War service medal, silver, a C.E.F. Service at the Front lapel badge, No. 166276, a Maple Leaf collar badge, and a related Scottish Clan badge, generally good very fine (8) £160-180

Stewart Grigg Douglas was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on 4 November 1891, and enlisted into the Canadian Army Medical Corps on 23 March 1915. He was appointed a motor ambulance driver and served in France with the 2nd Divisional Motor Transport Company, Canadian Army Service Corps. He was awarded the Military Medal while serving with the 4th Canadian Field Ambulance, and was demobilised on 20 May 1919. Sold with copy of full service record.
