Four: Sergeant (Musician) F. R. Burns, Welsh Guards, formerly Royal Horse Guards, and Royal Artillery

1939-45 Star; France and Germany Star; Defence and War Medals; together with three identity discs and a brass identity bracelet; Welsh Guards collar badge; and a quantity of original documentation and photographs, including numerous photographs of recipient and two Regular Army Certificate’s of service, etc., generally nearly extremely fine (9) £50-70

Felix Robert Burns testimonial in his Certificate of Service states ‘Sergeant Burns has served in the army for 26 years. He has been in the Welsh Guards for the past 13 and a half years and before that served with the Royal Horse Guards and the Heavy Ack Ack Regiment, Royal Artillery. He is a good violinist and tenor saxophonist. He is conscientious and keen and a good clean soldier. Always willing, he will be a loss to the band.’
