1914 Star, with copy clasp (2260 Pte., Ir. Gds.); British War and Victory Medals (2260 Pte., Ir. Gds.); together with memorial plaque (Michael Power) good very fine or better (4) £200-250

Michael Power was born at Stradbally, County Waterford, and lived at Thurles, County Tipperary. He was killed in action in France and Flanders on 17 February 1915 whilst serving with the 1st Battalion, Irish Guards. He is buried at Cuinchy Communal Cemetery, France.
