Great War Armistice Naval Signal, a printed black and white form with typed inscription ‘From Air Group, Plymouth to Seaplanes, Newlyn, dated 11.11.1918, From Staddon W/T following intercepted from Eiffel Tower (Paris) from Marchall Foch C. in C. “Hostilities will cease upon the whole front from 11th November at eleven o’clock French time”. Allied troops will not cross until a further order the place reached on that date and that hour, signed Marshall Foch.’, with rubber stamp ‘H.M. Air Station, Newlyn, Penzance, 11 Nov. 1918’, and wax seal inscribed ‘The seal of His Majesty’s Ships’, laid on card, good condition and an interesting and historic piece £100-150
