9th Light Dragoons Regimental Medal, silver, with raised rim and integral loop for suspension, 57mm, all engraved, in a central circle superimposed on crossed lances and guidons, a crown above “GR”, with “1817” below. On a scroll above “Lancers”, and on a scroll below “IX Light Dragoons”. Rev: “Military Merit Rewarded by The Officers of The Regiment. Awarded to Thomas Hely”, very fine £200-300

Probably Thomas Hely who was appointed Quartermaster on 2 November 1809.
