Struck by Matthew Young some time after 1810, muling an unused pattern obverse die for Fullerton’s proposed 1799 issue of silver tokens with the reverse die of Isaac Swainson’s halfpenny, engraved for Matthew Boulton by Noel Ponthon, which had come into the possession of Young after Boulton’s death.
