Welch, Penny, 1795 (DH 6, 12, 13, 20, 21). [5]. Last two extremely fine and bronzed, others very fine or better but DH 12 with metal fault across centre of reverse (£80-100)

Isaac Perrins (1750-1800), champion boxer of Warwickshire, Staffordshire and Worcestershire, fought the all-England champion, Thomas Johnson (†1797), at Banbury on 22 October 1789. After a contest of 62 rounds, Johnson was declared the winner.
