18th Century, Middlesex, Middlesex, National series, medalets (2), for George III’s Visit to St Paul’s, 1789, type 1 by James in white metal, and type 2 by Milton in copper; medalets for George III’s Return to Health, 1789 (3), by Droz (2), viz. type 2, signed DF, in bronzed-copper, and type 3, signed DROZ F, in Barton’s metal, silvered; and by James, in silver-plated copper, reverse corruption of portion of Thurlow’s speech to the House; medalets for the Naval Victory Celebrations at St Paul’s, 1797 (2), both copper, unsigned, different types (DH 176, 177, 180, 181, 185, 195, 197; BHM 294, 295, 302, 311 [2], 441, 442; Stainton 7). [7]. DH 180, 181 and 197 all extremely fine, the Barton’s metal piece rare, DH 185 good fine, others very fine but DH 195 with minor surface and edge marks (£80-100)
