Italy, Heraclius (alone), a Follis of Justinian I, obverse countermarked with the head of Heraclius, reverse countermarked SCLs denoting the mint of Syracuse, 12.79gm (Sp. 42; Sear 882); Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine (613-638), Decanummium, Catania, yr. XVI (625/6), 3.27gm (Sp. 49; Sear 886); Follis, countermarked with the facing heads of the monarchs, reverse countermarked SCS denoting Syracuse, 5.15gm (Sp. 54; Sear 884). [3]. Second very fine, others fine or better but last with small piercing, the countermarked issues scarce (£50-70)
