1924. British Empire Exhibition, silver plaque by Carter Preston, struck at the Royal Mint, Britannia seated, figures representing the Dominions facing her, reverse make all sure we are one, 78mm x 50mm (BHM 4189; E. 988; cf. BNJ vol. 55, 1986 “Sir Robert Johnson, the Mint and Medal Making” pp.172-173). Good very fine (£30-40)

Unrecorded by Brown in silver. This plaquette was the winning entry in a competition sponsored by the Armourers’ and Braziers’ company.
